Toscographics was created in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1999. Since then, the company of Denise Garcia Bergt and Allan Sieber has made more than 20 films between animated shorts and fiction medium and feature films. In 2006, Denise was invited to Berlin to show her documentary film “I´m Ugly but Trendy” at the Akademie der Künste, in Transmediale Festival. The year after, she was again taken to Berlin to show the same film at Kino Babylon.
In 2008 she fixed residency in the city and worked until middle 2009 as an artist in residence at the RAW Art where the first works for Toscographics Berlin begun to be developed.
Currently she works on a documentary called “Bleiberecht”.
